10th International Yacht Race to La Trinite-sur-Mer

St. Helier Yacht Club is organising Jersey’s premier International Offshore Yacht Race to La Trinité-sur-Mer in South Brittany for the second time this summer. Around 30 yachts from Jersey, Guernsey, the UK, France, as well as hopefully from further afield, will test their sailing skills by navigating around the challenging Brittany Coast in a race covering 350 nautical miles.

The race starts in St. Aubins Bay at 20:00 on 30th July and crews can expect to spend 3 to 4 days continuously at sea before arriving for a warm welcome in La Trinité (together with a needed shower!).

For 2010, we have introduced a Cruising Rally for the first time to run alongside the main race. There will be Class prizes, as well as overall prizes, awarded at the reception and prize-giving event in La Trinité on the Wednesday evening.

For anyone interested in entering the event, the Notice of Race and entry form is available by clicking here  or can be picked up at the Club.
