Racing Skipper's Briefing

Following the hugely popular and successful meeting last year the sailing committee are holding a meeting again to share our (and your) reflections on the 2023 season and our plans (and maybe your ideas) for 2024.

Please join us in the Clubroom at 19:00 on Wednesday the 11th of October.

Although the framework for the 2024 racing programme is already well advanced, the sailing committee wanted to give fleet members the opportunity to give feedback and suggestions before we finalise it.

If there are other topics you would like to discuss or have questions, please give us as much advanced notice by emailing sailing.shyc@gmail.com. That way we will likely be able to provide better informed and constructive responses.

We would particularly like to hear from, (and see) members of the Class 2 fleet as we would really like to develop greater participation in this class next year.

As 2024 will be a "Biscay Race" year we would be interested in hearing suggestions for destinations bearing in mind that we may still be limited by a requirement to enter a primary port.

Wine prizes will also be presented during the evening to skippers.
