Welcome to my penultimate monthly newsletter! Doesnt time fly!
The Clubs AGM
The AGM is to be held on Wednesday 16th April, the notices and documents will follow in due course as required. We are looking for new members to join our committees; in particular we are looking for a Rear Commodore. So, if you are interested, please contact the Office or speak with me or any of the other Flag Officers to help with the running of the Club.
Caribbean night
Wow, what a night! Another sell out and a great evening of fun, dancing and socialising. The Les Quennevais School Steel Band got us all in the mood with a tremendous performance on the night, setting the scene perfectly, and then DJ Nelson to continue the evenings festivities. A really big thank you, to Susie and all on the Social Committee, a great team performance.
Seapower Marine Spring Series - race 1
21 entries with 18 boats on the start line for the first race, a great start to this years racing. The two starts were tightly contested, with two boats over the line in the second start and having to return to start correctly. Great racing, shame the starter in the hut doesnt get to see much of the racing when the boats are in the Bay!
The next race is on Sunday 2nd March, and then with two more on Sunday 23rd March, followed by Sunday lunch. A big thank you to Seapower Marine, who have been fantastic sponsors.
