August Rally to St. Quay-Portrieux

Our next rally event is to the fabulous port of St. Quay-Portrieux over the last bank holiday weekend of the season - 28-31^st August.  The substantial marina has 24-hour access and is built against the outer arm of the old picturesque drying harbour, giving visitors the best of both worlds.  There are many good shops, bars and restaurants, both next to the marina and in the old town of Portrieux nearby.

Below you will find a link to register please do so NOW if you intend joining us, or even if you think you might, as there will NOT be a further call to register.  All further communications will be via the emails you enter on registration.  Registrations close on Sunday evening the 16^th August.

Our itinerary is currently as follows:

• Friday 28^th August Optional early departure from Jersey for St. Quay-Portrieux, allowing the faster boats an extra night away HW St Helier is at 19:45 BST. There are no events organised today.
• Saturday 29^th August The majority of boats, including those taking part in the Offshore Race, are expected to arrive during the day, depending on speed HW St Helier is at 08:04 and 20:19 BST, and of course you can arrive at St. Quay at any state of tide.  We will be meeting at one of the bars on the marina for a welcome drink from 17:30 (French Time).  There is no formal meal organised, so please take your pick from the many options available in the port.
• Sunday 30^th August No activities are organised today, so a day at leisure in town or on the boats.  If you are planning to eat Sunday lunch at one of the restaurants, early booking is advised.
• Monday 31^st August The open market in the centre of Portrieux, during the morning, is well worth a visit if you have time before heading home.  HW St Helier is at 09:11 and 21:26. 

The cost of entry is £5 per person for Members, and £10 for non-members attending.  This is refundable if we have to cancel due to bad weather.   You will also be able to view the Rally Booking Conditions when registering.
