New! Rally to Carteret - 19th - 21st September

After such a successful event in Carteret in July, with a great barbeque by the Yacht Club whilst enjoying the jazz band, it was sad to have to cancel the August rally to Guernsey and Herm for logistical reasons. However, we were busy planning the Granville rally for September when we received the bad news that they could no longer accommodate us, due to major work starting on the breakwater in mid-September. So we have switched destinations and we will be heading back to Carteret for our last rally of the season.
New Rally to Carteret schedule:
Friday 19th September
Travel to Carteret on the afternoon tide (HW 18:05, 9.9m) (or on Saturday as work commitments allow);
Saturday 20th
A morning visit to the Barneville market for those end-of season essentials, and a welcome drink at the Yacht Club at 18:00 (French time), followed by supper at your own choice of restaurant.
Sunday 21st
Return to Jersey on the morning or evening tide, with an option to spend the day at Les Ecrehous.
Whilst we will not be asking for the usual registration fee at this point, due to the current changeable weather, we do ask that you register your interest, using the link below. We will then make a go/no-go decision a few days in advance and ask you to then make your payment (£5 for members, £10 for guests). There will not be a further newsletter relating to this event, all further communication will be using the email address you register, so please dont delay, but register your interest below now.
