Clubhouse Update - February

Dear Members,
I am sure that you will have heard the news that Covid restrictions will be further eased on Monday 22nd February if there is no increase in the number of cases during the next week. This should allow for re-opening of hospitality establishments but only under strict guidelines. It appears that these will be more stringent than when we re-opened after the last lockdown and we will be having more checks.
Your flag officers together with Chris will be meeting with our franchisees to discuss what precautions will have to be put in place to make sure that when we re-open it will be as safely as possible.
As soon as we have more news we will let you know.

The Chart Room
During the last week work has been progressing at pace with the project of opening up the Chart Room in order to make it more user friendly and at the same time allowing more light into the Club Room. We were originally hoping that the work would have been completed before the club reopens but this date is now sooner than we had expected so we certainly hope to get the lions share done even if it is not completely ready for use.
