Alex Bleasby series
The 9th of October saw the final race of the series, and it was a final race shoot out between Aphros and MicMac. Once again the turnout for this series has been excellent. Thank you to Peter Crabb for organising the series and to Joyce Barber for sponsoring. The picture below shows skippers and crews enjoying the all-important lunch following the final race.
Congratulations to MicMac, skippered by Malcolm Le Couteur, on winning the series.
 
General Directive 14, updated 4th October 2024
This directive covers navigation within the St Helier Harbour approaches and has been reviewed in order to add clarification. It was to essentially bring the directive in line with current practice. As part of this process, navigational risks were reviewed and incorporated, together with some clarification with regards to the passages of Corbiere inshore, Brett and Elizabeth breakwater end.

Diwali Week and Laying Up Supper on 2nd November
The Club has been beautifully decorated with gold tablecloths with orange, pink and turquoise runners, Diwali napkins and table centre candles. A huge thank you to the Social Committee, for organising this fabulous event, and to Bruno for providing the Indian Food menu which runs until the 9th November. Do come to the Club and enjoy.

Annual Dinner & Dance
And of course, November is our Annual Dinner and Dance. Have you got your tickets yet? If not join us on Saturday 16th November at St Brelades Bay Hotel. It is a black tie event with live music provided by the world-class Jessica Lloyd Band.
