Tour des Ports
It was fantastic to host this year's Tour des Ports de la Manche, starting in Jersey for the first time in its 40 year history. Over 80 boats and 550 crew enjoyed excellent hospitality. A really big thank you to Peter Funk, who headed the team that made the Jersey reception such a great success.
Two Jersey boats took part, team Morrina IV and team Altair, both of which enjoyed excellent racing and the very full social programme in the evening.

Barn dance
The Club went wild for the Barn Dance organised by Susie, Chip and the Social Committee. It was great to have the Bonne Nuit Boat Owners joining us after their initial plans were interrupted by the weather.
Biscay Race
As you read this newsletter, boats will be getting ready to race or rally from LAber-Wrach to Roscoff, as part of a different format for our bi-annual race to Biscay. Thank you to the sub-committee of Bob as race director, Rhys and David for organising.
RNLI 200 Jersey Flotilla
To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the RNLI this year, St Helier Yacht Club is inviting all boat owners with suitable vessels, to participate in a grand flotilla. Jersey boat owners are invited to show your appreciation to the RNLI for keeping us all safe at sea and join our grand Flotilla in St Aubins Bay on the evening of Monday 19th of August.
